Credit Sales Representative – Key Accounts

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Credit Sales Representative to lead and grow our business with key accounts and Modern Trade customers in the food distribution/FMCG sector. The role focuses on building strong relationships, managing credit limits, and driving sales performance across the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop sales across key accounts and Modern Trade customers.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with major customers and decision‑makers.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and maximise opportunities within the territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Follow up on customer orders, payments, credit limits and outstanding balances.
• Execute promotions, pricing and company agreements effectively.
• Monitor market activities, competitor actions, pricing trends and customer requirements.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and distribution across assigned accounts.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on performance and market developments.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer service.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of proven experience in credit sales, preferably within food distribution or FMCG companies.
• Strong experience dealing with key accounts and Modern Trade customers.
• Established relationships with major accounts is highly preferred.
• Track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
• Good knowledge of the food distribution market and Modern Trade channel.
• Ability to manage credit customers and follow up on collections.
• Valid driving licence.
