Customs Clearance Officer

About the role

The Customs Clearance Officer will manage all customs documentation and clearance activities for inbound and outbound shipments. This role ensures smooth coordination with Jordanian Customs and related authorities while maintaining accurate records in both company and customs systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file customs documents and clearance files.
• Handle end‑to‑end customs clearance procedures for shipments.
• Coordinate directly with Jordanian Customs and other regulatory bodies.
• Communicate with shipping companies and transport providers to arrange clearances.
• Update shipment data in internal and customs tracking systems.
• Identify and resolve clearance issues, reporting any delays promptly.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable customs laws and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in customs clearance.
• Strong knowledge of Jordanian customs procedures and required documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Immediate availability is considered an advantage.
