Data Privacy Expert – Part‑Time Consultancy

About the role

Nextwo is looking for an experienced Data Privacy Expert to join the team on a part‑time or consultancy basis. The role focuses on ensuring that all SaaS and CPaaS products meet the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and relevant international privacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and guarantee product and operational compliance with Saudi PDPL and applicable regulations such as GDPR.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to embed privacy‑by‑design principles, especially for biometric and messaging services.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing offerings to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
• Review, update, and draft data‑privacy policies, consent forms, and data‑processing agreements tailored to the business model.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in data‑privacy laws with deep knowledge of Saudi PDPL.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) are highly desirable.
• Experience in technology companies, SaaS platforms, or cloud service providers, with a solid grasp of data‑security principles, API integrations, and cloud‑infrastructure privacy requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, capable of translating complex legal requirements for technical teams.
