Design Lead – Video First

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Design Lead who lives and breathes short‑form video. In this fast‑growing digital marketing agency you will turn ideas, product images and raw footage into scroll‑stopping content for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and other social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Concept, produce and edit short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Snapchat and similar channels.
• Combine raw footage, product imagery, stock assets, motion graphics and AI‑generated elements to create performance‑focused videos.
• Develop strong hooks, narratives and visual structures that boost attention, retention and conversion.
• Translate client briefs and marketing goals into clear creative concepts and publish‑ready assets.
• Adapt creative ideas for both organic social posts and paid advertising formats.
• Create supporting assets such as static ads, carousels, thumbnails, social graphics and simple motion designs.
• Help define visual and creative direction for multiple ecommerce and consumer brands.
• Generate and test variations of concepts, hooks, formats and messaging while staying ahead of platform trends and emerging AI tools.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines across several client accounts, reviewing performance data to inform future content.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience producing video‑led social content, preferably in an agency, ecommerce brand or performance‑marketing environment.
• Strong portfolio or reel showcasing short‑form video work for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat or YouTube Shorts.
• Proven ability to take concepts through hands‑on execution to final delivery.
• Experience creating content for ecommerce or consumer‑brand campaigns.

Required skills

• CapCut or professional editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Design software including Adobe Photoshop, Canva or Figma.
• Practical use of AI creative tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Veo, Runway).
• Combining footage, product imagery, stock assets, typography, sound and motion graphics.
