DevOps Engineer (AWS / Kubernetes / Automation)

About the role

KIDZONET® is a telecom‑based Child Online Protection service seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, automated infrastructure across AWS and on‑premise environments. You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines and ensure high reliability of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on AWS and bare‑metal servers.
• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS and self‑managed).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for code repository and automation.
• Build, optimize, and manage Docker containers and images.
• Automate provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop internal automation scripts and tools in Python.
• Package and deploy Kubernetes applications with Helm.
• Monitor system reliability, security, and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and delivery processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes administration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with GitLab as a repository and CI/CD platform.
• Solid Docker experience, including image creation and registry management.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Strong Python scripting skills.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, routing protocols).
