DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading fintech and trading company, is expanding its engineering team. The DevOps Engineer will design and maintain sustainable, secure infrastructure for client applications, ensuring high availability and performance across cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment with Shell and Python scripts.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads on Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and security.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, GitLab or Jenkins, integrating automated testing and security scanning.
• Set up monitoring and logging using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, New Relic or DataDog.
• Design, implement, and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and support query optimization.
• Develop backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery strategies, performing regular verification drills.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures, and collaborate with development and security teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
