Dietitian

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Dietitian to join our team at Ideal Nutrition Center in Aqaba. The successful candidate will assess clients’ nutritional status, interpret basic health data and develop personalized nutrition care plans that support weight management, chronic disease prevention and lifestyle change.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one nutritional counseling sessions and create culturally appropriate meal plans.
• Review medical histories and basic laboratory results to tailor nutrition interventions.
• Monitor client progress through follow‑up appointments and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and wellness coaches.
• Maintain accurate client documentation and contribute to group workshops or educational sessions.
• Stay updated with evidence‑based nutrition guidelines and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics or a related field.
• Relevant licensure or registration where required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a respectful, non‑judgmental approach.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on‑site in Aqaba and adapt to a clinic‑based environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in nutritional counseling, client assessment and motivational interviewing.
• Experience or training in Medical Nutrition Therapy for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and gastrointestinal disorders.
• Competence in weight‑management planning for loss, maintenance or healthy gain.
• Basic computer literacy and use of electronic record systems.
