EHS Specialist – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The EHS Specialist will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental programs across multiple sites. You will work closely with site leaders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and corporate EHS policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide EHS guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with project policies and legal requirements.
• Analyze weekly and monthly EHS metrics, identify trends, and allocate resources to high‑risk areas.
• Develop and roll out EHS programs that strengthen safety culture.
• Conduct regular site visits to identify hazards, non‑compliance, and improve controls.
• Carry out risk assessments, incident investigations, and internal audits.
• Deliver EHS training and support worker consultation mechanisms such as EHS committee meetings.
• Collaborate with local environmental authorities and health‑and‑safety agencies.
• Assist the EHS Manager with strategic improvements and budget preparation.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Sciences, Facility Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive responsibility in safety and/or environmental programs.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
• Proven experience implementing EHS management systems and process improvement in a matrix environment.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region and to other EMEA locations.
