Electrical Cost, Estimation & Procurement Engineer

About the role

MAB United For Trading & Contracting is looking for a detail-driven Electrical Cost, Estimation & Procurement Engineer to join its Technical Office (Tendering & Procurement) in Amman, reporting to the Technical Office Manager. The role bridges technical electrical design and commercial execution by preparing accurate cost estimates and BOQs, leading procurement cycles and using Revit for quantity take-offs and technical coordination across large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and technical specifications to develop precise cost estimates, budgets and pricing models
• Prepare detailed BOQs, material take-offs and price comparisons for tender submissions
• Review tender conditions, commercial terms and contract documents to protect project margins
• Manage end-to-end procurement: issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate technical and commercial offers, and track purchase orders through to delivery
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers and build strong supplier relationships
• Use Revit and BIM workflows to extract quantities and evaluate technical submittals
• Coordinate with electrical designers, project managers, site teams and consultants, and review material submittals and shop drawings for compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 to 7+ years of experience in electrical estimation, tendering and procurement within construction, contracting or MEP
• Solid understanding of low-voltage power distribution systems, electrical materials and specifications
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
• Fluency in Arabic and strong professional proficiency in English

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (quantity extraction, modeling, MEP coordination)
• AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Odoo or Oracle

Working conditions: full-time, on-site at the Amman office, standard working hours with occasional flexibility for tender and project deadlines.
