Electrical Technical Support Lead

About the role

Vestas is looking for an Electrical Technical Support Lead to ensure the performance, reliability and safety of modern wind turbine systems. You will act as a bridge between internal engineering teams, external stakeholders and field crews, driving technical issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to assess technical queries, variations and payment claims promptly.
• Ensure all activities comply with Vestas Quality and Site Safety requirements.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand root causes and translate findings into actionable solutions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to analyse data and pinpoint operational issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Solid understanding of turbine control principles, generator/converter behaviour and grid compliance.
• Experience with control‑system diagnostics and embedded software environments.
• Familiarity with structured product‑development processes and internal engineering procedures.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
