Electrician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Electrician will ensure the safe operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems within Four Seasons Hotel Amman. This position supports uninterrupted luxury guest experiences by keeping lighting, power distribution and life‑safety systems reliable and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain lighting systems, panels, wiring, outlets, transformers, motors and control systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests via the HotSOS management system.
• Support preventive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and backup power (generators/UPS).
• Follow strict lockout/tag‑out and energy isolation procedures and report hazards immediately.
• Perform electrical work in guest areas discreetly and professionally.
• Assist during renovations, upgrades and new installations.
• Support energy‑conservation initiatives by monitoring consumption and identifying efficiency improvements.
• Complete accurate maintenance logs, reports and work orders.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with hotel or commercial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes, safety regulations and lockout/tag‑out procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team while maintaining guest privacy.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and reliability.

Required skills

• Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical wiring, panels and fixtures.
• Working with lighting systems, transformers, motors and control circuits.
• Fire alarm and emergency lighting system maintenance.
• Backup power systems (generators, UPS) operation.
• Use of Hotel centralized maintenance management system (HotSOS).
• Lockout/tag‑out and energy isolation procedures.
