Engineering Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Engineering Coordinator to lead the maintenance and technical operations of our hotel facilities. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical, mechanical, kitchen and laundry equipment runs smoothly while supporting a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all electrical equipment and control panels, ensuring accurate function.
• Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules and keep detailed records.
• Keep electrical panels, motors, and appliances clean and in good condition.
• Distribute work to team members according to capability and monitor compliance with standards.
• Ensure tools are safely stored and operational.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee quality, progress, and positive inter‑department relationships.
• Develop opportunities for engineering staff to multitask and expand their skills.
• Maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including cleanliness and performance.
• Monitor and maintain pumps and motors.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Previous experience in a similar engineering role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Computer literacy is an advantage.
• Capable of handling stress, working under pressure, and producing concise reports.
• Self‑motivated with a focus on innovative solutions for hotel operations.
