English Conversation Trainer

About the role

The English Conversation Trainer will deliver interactive speaking sessions to learners in Irbid, with the flexibility to work partly from home. The focus is on enhancing spoken English, listening comprehension, and confidence in real‑life communication.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging conversation lessons for groups and individual learners.
• Facilitate discussions, role‑plays and one‑on‑one practice to improve pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary.
• Prepare clear learning materials, exercises and feedback documents.
• Track learner progress and adapt teaching methods to different proficiency levels and learning styles.
• Collaborate with academy staff to align sessions with program goals and schedules.

Required profile

• Strong command of spoken English with clear pronunciation and listening skills.
• Prior experience as an English instructor, tutor or conversation partner.
• Ability to engage diverse learners and create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Organizational and time‑management skills for scheduling, lesson preparation and progress tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field is an advantage; TESOL or TEFL certification is beneficial.
