About the role
The English Programmes Project Coordinator will support the programme team in delivering English and school education projects in Jordan. This fixed‑term role involves financial administration, data management, reporting and coordination with delivery partners while ensuring compliance with British Council policies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage vendors and suppliers, ensuring services are delivered on time and payments processed via SAP Finance.
- Plan, monitor and report on project budgets, maintain accurate financial records and support forecasting.
- Enter and quality‑check project data, conduct basic analysis and prepare progress reports for funders.
- Oversee grants administration, procurement processes and event‑based components of the programme.
- Support internal compliance activities such as due diligence, records management and data storage.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to implement diversity and inclusion action plans.
- Maintain relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders at appropriate levels.
Required profile
- Fluent in English and Arabic (minimum B2 level).
- Proven experience in project coordination, financial administration and data management.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
- Understanding of British Council policies and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Required skills
- SAP (FABS online system) for financial processing.
