Evaluation Specialist – Education Sector

About the role

The Sustainable Research and Development Center is seeking an Evaluation Specialist to join a multidisciplinary team that will conduct the final evaluation of a multi‑year education sector system‑strengthening programme in Jordan. The role focuses on assessing programme performance across policy, planning, data, financing, gender equality, digital transformation and crisis‑sensitive planning.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of the evaluation methodology and technical approach.
• Conduct desk reviews and collect primary data.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and gather qualitative insights.
• Perform data analysis, triangulation and synthesis of findings.
• Prepare evaluation reports and develop actionable recommendations.
• Support the Team Leader and other members throughout the evaluation process.

Required profile

• Qualified professional with experience in education sector evaluations.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex evaluation tasks.
• Familiarity with education policy, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and evidence‑based decision‑making.
