Executive Chef – Amman

About the role

The Executive Chef‑A will lead all kitchen operations for a hospitality property in Amman, overseeing multiple food outlets and support areas. The role combines hands‑on culinary work with staff leadership, aiming to enhance guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily kitchen activities across banquets, room service, restaurants, bar/lounge, and employee cafeteria.
• Supervise food preparation, dish room, and purchasing functions to ensure consistent, high‑quality output.
• Develop and enforce sanitation and food safety standards.
• Set performance, budget, and team goals for the culinary department.
• Mentor and develop kitchen staff, including conducting training on new cooking techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with property management to align culinary operations with overall business objectives.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of culinary experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel Management with at least 4 years of experience.
• Proven ability to manage large kitchen teams and multiple food service outlets.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, purchasing, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
