Experienced Associate – Audit & Assurance (External Audit)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an Experienced Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team, focusing on external audit engagements for the Jordanian Resources Center serving the KSA market. The role involves collaborating with on‑shore and off‑shore centres of excellence and delivering high‑quality audit services.

Key responsibilities

• Build trust with stakeholders by understanding service expectations and delivering high‑quality audit work.
• Adapt template referral instructions, define audit scope, and liaise with Centres of Excellence.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and link risks, controls, procedures and findings across the audit file.
• Prepare documentation anticipating reviewer questions and distinguish accounting from auditing judgments.
• Apply AI tools in audit contexts, ensuring responsible use and validation of AI‑generated outputs.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or related field; graduate degree and international qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) preferred.
• 2+ years of public audit experience, preferably with a Big Four firm.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Arabic/English candidates preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff, plan engagements and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Use of AI in audit (prompt engineering, structured problem‑solving).
• Understanding of audit regulations, risk management and responsible AI governance.
