About the role

The F&B Checker ensures accuracy of financial and operational data within the food and beverage department of a Marriott property in Aqaba. This full‑time position involves handling cash, auditing reports, and supporting guest service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and audit financial reports.
• Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information and reconcile revenue postings.
• Control and secure cash and cash equivalents according to cash handling policies.
• Organize and maintain files and records in compliance with retention and confidentiality policies.
• Prepare and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly, answer telephones with proper etiquette, and prepare written documents accurately.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and perform physical tasks up to 10 pounds.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 pounds.
• Commitment to follow company policies and procedures.
