Field Excellence Manager

About the role

The Field Excellence Manager drives field performance and execution excellence for assigned Therapeutic Areas or functions. Acting as the primary interface between Therapeutic Area leadership, sales, and Value & Access teams, the role ensures alignment of brand strategy, access strategy, and field execution across countries.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main Field Excellence liaison for Therapeutic Area leadership, sales heads, and Value & Access strategy leads.
• Represent Field Excellence in planning and performance reviews, ensuring field implications are understood.
• Design and align field execution models with brand and go‑to‑market plans, defining focus areas, success metrics, and prioritisation trade‑offs.
• Propose optimal sales organisation structures, sizing scenarios, and resource allocations based on benchmarks and launch priorities.
• Shape and steer go‑to‑market field models for new product launches, including HCP tiering and segmentation.
• Partner with CRM and field system owners to implement execution guidance and support system adoption.
• Define and monitor field KPIs, incorporating International Commercial Excellence metrics and V&A field performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field performance management and execution model design within therapeutic areas.
• Strong background in coordinating International Commercial Excellence frameworks at country level.
• Ability to translate strategic intent into clear field execution direction and measurable outcomes.
• Experience influencing sales organisation design, sizing, and resource allocation decisions.
• Familiarity with CRM practices, HCP tiering, and field KPI implementation.
