Finance Manager – Germany

About the role

Hikma Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Finance Manager for its Germany operations, based in Amman, Jordan. The role will support the finance function by preparing reports, managing month‑end processes, and leading a small team to ensure accurate financial information and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial management reports, including IFRS, OM&A, MD&A packs and ad‑hoc reports.
• Review monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts with sub‑ledgers and detailed listings.
• Manage AR & AP cycles in collaboration with the AR & AP Center of Excellence.
• Review and approve month‑end journal entries and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Provide analysis and respond to business unit queries on financial results.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with standard financial controls.
• Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Assign and prioritize daily tasks for team members.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, providing performance feedback.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in coordination with third‑party providers.
• Coordinate with external auditors, financial compliance officers, banks and other officials.
• Work with the internal tax team to prepare statutory tax returns.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests and special projects as they arise.
• Support additional tasks assigned by Finance Directors or CFOs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong technical accounting background.
