Financial Controller – Strategic Finance Leader

About the role

The Financial Controller will act as the strategic financial business leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis, and control to support the brand’s service strategy and deliver strong financial results.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to forecast sales, expenses, and develop annual budget plans.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Develop initiatives to improve profitability, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business opportunities.
• Ensure robust accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and enhance profitability.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, communicating strategic goals and holding staff accountable for performance.
• Prepare and submit timely financial reports, ensuring accurate documentation of profit and loss.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Or a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with no prior experience required.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex data.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
