Food Server

About the role

Dough Union is a modern food concept focused on high-quality dishes and a welcoming dining experience, with a team committed to fresh ingredients, consistent food standards and friendly service. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Food Server in Amman, Jordan, working as part of a team in a busy, dynamic setting.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Set up and clean tables and present menu items.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and handle payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in the service area and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Respond to guest questions and concerns.
• Support peak service hours and uphold the brand's standards of quality and hospitality.

Required profile

• Experience or familiarity with food and beverage and food service operations, including basic serving procedures.
• Previous restaurant, cafe or similar hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for long periods and manage several tasks at once.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
• Professional, respectful attitude and commitment to a clean, organized workspace.

Required skills

• Strong customer service skills focused on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.
• Basic understanding of cooking or food preparation to explain menu items and support the kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling cash, payments and receipts.
