Foundation Director

About the role

The Khaldoun Tabari Foundation is looking for a dynamic Foundation Director to steer its philanthropic programmes from its Amman office. Reporting to the Chairman and the Foundation Committee, the Director will shape strategy, oversee budgets and ensure impact for health, education, Palestinian causes and culture initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual programme plan and budget aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
• Identify, evaluate and select credible partner organisations and projects.
• Conduct financial, governance and operational due‑diligence on potential grantees.
• Manage grants, scholarships and institutional partnerships throughout their lifecycle.
• Monitor project performance, beneficiaries and measurable outcomes.
• Prepare recommendations and quarterly reports for the Chairman and Foundation Committee.
• Coordinate financial and administrative matters with the Lane Group.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in foundations, NGOs, development, healthcare, education, CSR or social‑impact organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Jordan and Palestine.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• University degree; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• High integrity, discretion and sound judgment.
