Freelance Optical Engineer (Python) – AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for an optical engineer with strong Python skills to join our platform as a freelance AI trainer. You will design and validate computational physics problems that are used to test and improve AI systems for leading tech companies.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational physics problems that mimic real research workflows in mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics.
• Create problem statements that require Python solutions using libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, and SymPy.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Verify solutions programmatically and provide clear documentation with correct answers.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers to align problem difficulty with AI evaluation goals.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics (theoretical, experimental, or computational) or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in research, applied physics, or teaching.
• Proficiency in Python for numerical validation and strong written English (C1+).
• Experience with numerical simulation methods and physics modeling techniques.
