Frontend Engineer

About the role

Bayzat is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join its fast‑growing product team. You will help build responsive, high‑performance single‑page applications that power HR, payroll, finance and insurance solutions for companies across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive SPA features using React.js and TypeScript.
• Participate in agile planning, estimation and rapid iteration cycles.
• Communicate proactively with teammates to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
• Identify and implement improvements to development quality and efficiency.
• Provide feasibility, usability and design input to create optimal customer experiences.

Required profile

• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and modern front‑end frameworks (React.js preferred).
• Good understanding of UI/UX principles, HTML5, CSS and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger, Node.js and testing tools such as Cypress.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, memory management and performance trade‑offs.
• Proactive problem‑solver, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Experience in SaaS or FinTech environments is a plus.
