Grants and Partnership Coordinator

About the role

The Grants and Partnership Coordinator ensures high‑quality grants management and partnership processes throughout the project cycle for the Iraq‑Jordan country office. Reporting to the Head of Programme, the role supports new business development, donor compliance, and technical supervision of the Grants and Partnerships team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of concept notes and proposals in collaboration with technical, field, and HQ teams, ensuring alignment with DRC and donor strategies.
• Facilitate cross‑department communication (program, MEAL, finance, safety, logistics, procurement, HR) during proposal drafting and budgeting.
• Organise and lead kick‑off, monthly project performance meetings and close‑out meetings to monitor implementation, spending and donor compliance.
• Lead grants management processes, including modification requests and reporting.
• Support coordination and management of partnerships and consortia engagements.
• Assist the Head of Programme with donor and technical partner visits and conduct field visits to verify programme progress.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information on donor strategies, priorities and funding opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grants management and partnership coordination within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Ability to work closely with programme, finance, MEAL and operations teams.
• Willingness to travel to field locations as needed.
