Guest Service Agent

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent you will be the first point of contact for guests at a hotel that belongs to the Accor network. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle guest inquiries, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update the logbook, check equipment, and print panic reports at least twice per shift.
• Prepare daily arrivals, allocate rooms, and process check‑ins and check‑outs using the reservation system.
• Handle cashiering duties, foreign exchange transactions, and night‑audit tasks.
• Issue and control guest room key cards, manage walk‑in and phone reservations, and assist at the information counter, foreign exchange desk, and business centre as needed.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and report any incidents or guest complaints to the supervisor or night manager.
• Follow fire and first‑aid procedures, and ensure compliance with Front Office OSM standards.

Required profile

• Well‑groomed, friendly and cheerful disposition at all times.
• Strong product knowledge of hotel facilities and services.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and respect team members.
• Attention to detail, especially when handling guest information and financial transactions.

Required skills

• Cashiering and foreign‑exchange handling.
• Night‑audit and reservation system operation.
• Key‑card issuance and guest security control.
• Basic knowledge of fire and first‑aid procedures.
