Head of SDR

About the role

The Head of SDR leads the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function within the Commercial Department, overseeing lead generation, prospecting, outreach, lead qualification and meeting generation to support the commercial pipeline. The role sets team priorities and operating standards, ensures accurate CRM data and consistent performance monitoring, and works closely with Business Development Specialists, Account Managers and other commercial stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support SDR Coordinators and Senior SDR Coordinators, set priorities, targets and performance expectations, and review results regularly
• Develop and oversee lead-generation and prospecting plans, including segmentation of target companies, industries and decision-makers, and personalized outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone
• Maintain CRM data quality, activity tracking, lead status, outreach history and meeting outcomes
• Work with Business Development Specialists and Account Managers on target accounts, lead criteria and handovers
• Prepare regular reports on SDR activity, lead-generation results, meeting performance and campaign outcomes, and recommend process improvements
• Document workflows and outreach standards, support onboarding and knowledge transfer, and encourage continuous learning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, sales operations or a related commercial role, including supervising others
• Demonstrated understanding of prospect research, lead qualification, outbound outreach and meeting generation
• Experience in the technology or language services sector is an advantage

• Written and verbal English and Arabic
