Health, Safety & Environment Officer

About the role

Yokogawa is seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to support its global operations. The role involves collecting and analysing data, ensuring compliance with HSE policies, and fostering a safe workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse data using predefined tools and formats, working independently.
• Apply Yokogawa’s HSE policies to identify and mitigate environmental and safety risks, and instruct teams on safe working methods.
• Support internal communications by advising users on system usage.
• Develop, test, and maintain procedures and guidelines for policy compliance.
• Create and manage a company‑wide document management system.
• Prepare complex documents and special reports using standard office software.
• Provide information and business advice to internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Commitment to continuous learning, including participation in training, conferences, and professional accreditation.
• Understanding of relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using document management systems.
