Hostess – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team at our luxury hotel in Amman. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and escort them to appropriate tables.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, ensuring each place setting is complete and clean.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor dining room flow, seating availability, and guest safety.
• Keep menus up‑to‑date, clean, and wrinkle‑free.
• Adhere to company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and provide assistance as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Can lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
