Hostess (Guest Service Expert)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Hostess to join our Sheraton hotel in Amman. As a Guest Service Expert you will help create memorable dining experiences by welcoming guests, setting tables, and supporting the food‑and‑beverage team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm first impression.
• Set up and clear tables, maintain clean work areas, and replenish supplies.
• Communicate guest requests and special needs to the kitchen and service staff.
• Assist with menu presentation, verify orders, and handle basic transactions.
• Move, lift and carry items up to 25 lb unaided (up to 50 lb with assistance) and navigate varied floor surfaces safely.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
• Ability to stand, walk and bend for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of food‑and‑beverage service procedures.
• Ability to read and verify menu information.
