About the role
As a Human Capital Associate you will join PwC’s Internal Firm Services team, supporting the employee lifecycle and HR operations across the Middle East. You will work closely with payroll, finance, mobility and government‑relations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day HC operational activities, including onboarding, record updates, transfers, letters, documentation and off‑boarding.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, validate employee data, support reconciliations and resolve payroll queries while maintaining confidentiality.
- Liaise with government‑relations and mobility teams on visas, work permits, iqama renewals and related documentation.
- Maintain compliance with local labour law and internal policies by keeping complete employee files and tracking required documents.
- Update HR systems, prepare regular reports and dashboards, and use data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Provide first‑level advice to employees and managers on HR policies and processes, escalating complex cases as needed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as finance, IT, mobility and internal audit to ensure seamless employee service delivery.
- Identify recurring operational challenges, propose improvements and support implementation of more efficient HC processes.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience in HR operations, generalist, payroll coordination or government‑relations support, preferably in a professional services or multinational environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle activities, payroll data validation, benefits, end‑of‑service support and related queries.
- Practical knowledge of visa, work‑permit and iqama processes and experience working with internal mobility teams.
- Good grasp of confidentiality, data accuracy, labour‑law compliance and internal policy adherence.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills with a collaborative approach.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
