Human Resources Associate

About the role
UNRWA, a United Nations agency dedicated to assisting Palestine refugees, is seeking a Human Resources Associate for its headquarters in Amman. The incumbent will support the HR Specialist in administering the complementary personnel profile and assisting with recruitment activities. This is a fixed‑term position reporting to the Head of the Area Complementary Personnel Services Section.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the HR Specialist with the administration of complementary personnel records.
- Support recruitment processes for complementary staff.
- Provide day‑to‑day HR services to the complementary personnel pool.
- Help ensure compliance with UNRWA HR policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the regularisation and establishment of the fixed‑term post.
Required profile
- Ability to assist in HR administration and recruitment tasks.
- Willingness to work under the supervision of the HR Specialist.
- Reporting line to the Head of the Area Complementary Personnel Services Section.
- Eligibility for a fixed‑term appointment within UNRWA.
