Infrastructure Implementation Intern

About the role

We are seeking a fresh graduate to join our Engineering Department for a one‑year internship under the Zain Youth Program. The role offers hands‑on experience in infrastructure projects, supporting site activities, GIS data handling, and coordination with external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing basic engineering drawings, plans, and designs.
• Support site visits, surveys, and follow‑up activities.
• Enter data, generate simple reports, and prepare documentation for external coordination.
• Use basic engineering, GIS, and surveying software under supervision.
• Collect GIS data, create maps, and perform spatial analysis.
• Coordinate project activities with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor progress and address site‑related issues.
• Help supervise on‑site work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Geomatics.
• Enthusiastic about learning and contributing to infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with GIS software.
• Basic proficiency with surveying software.
• Familiarity with basic engineering software tools.
