Inventory Controller

About the role

The Inventory Controller will be based in Amman and will ensure accurate inventory records and effective stock control across the Jordan business. The role involves monitoring stock levels, coordinating inventory transactions, and working closely with supply chain, logistics, sales, finance and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP/ERP, recording all receipts, transfers, returns, adjustments, reservations and dispatches.
• Perform regular cycle counts, physical stock counts and inventory reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor batch numbers, serial numbers and expiry dates to guarantee full traceability and apply FEFO/FIFO principles.
• Manage slow‑moving, short‑dated, excess, obsolete, damaged or blocked inventory, including quarantine stock handling.
• Coordinate incoming shipments, verify quantities and documentation, and support warehouse and logistics activities.
• Provide inventory data for demand planning, replenishment, and prepare regular inventory reports for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or related supply‑chain roles, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Fluency in Arabic and good command of English, with valid authorization to work in Jordan.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or another ERP system.
• Advanced Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock reconciliation.
