IoT & AI Integration Lead (LoRaWAN, Video Analytics, Field Deployment)

About the role

A hands-on IoT and AI integration lead is sought to design and deliver connected-device and analytics solutions. This is a field role: you will own deployments from site survey through to customer acceptance, build internal technical capability, and act as the certified technical resource with equipment and platform partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy LoRaWAN networks: site surveys, gateway placement, coverage and link-budget planning, network server configuration, device provisioning and RF troubleshooting
• Choose the right connectivity for each use case (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, 5G RedCap, Wi-Fi HaLow, BLE, Thread, satellite NTN) and justify it on coverage, power, cost and data profile
• Specify, test and commission sensors, gateways and tracking devices for asset tracking, telematics, environmental and utility monitoring, cold chain, occupancy and indoor positioning (BLE, UWB, GNSS)
• Deploy and tune video analytics on live sites: edge hardware, ONVIF/RTSP integration, detection rules, false-alarm reduction and acceptance testing
• Own the device data layer: payload decoders, MQTT topic design, device APIs, time-series storage, alerting and dashboards
• Support ERP and business-system integration with data models, interface specifications, test data and sandbox access
• Manage the device lifecycle: OTA firmware updates, certificates and identity, network segmentation, SIM/eSIM management and power planning
• Run customer pilots, proofs of concept and live demonstrations, and contribute technical content to proposals and tenders
• Complete vendor certification programs and keep the knowledge inside the company

Required profile

• 8-10+ years in technical solution delivery, including at least 3 years delivering IoT projects that reached live production, not pilots only
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechatronics or Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Fluent English and Arabic, valid driving license and willingness to travel for site work

Required skills

• Hands-on LoRaWAN experience: gateways, ChirpStack or The Things Stack, device onboarding, ADR tuning and payload decoders
• Video analytics or computer vision in live environments (ONVIF/RTSP, edge inference, accuracy tuning)
• Strong MQTT, REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and practical Python
• Working knowledge of cellular IoT (NB-IoT, LTE-M, eSIM)
• Grafana or Node-RED, Linux, containers, and cloud or on-premise deployment
• Familiarity with BLE, UWB, Thread, GNSS, and Modbus, BACnet or OPC UA
• Understanding of device security and lifecycle management
