Janitor

About the role

This full‑time Janitor position is based on‑site in Amman. You will keep the facilities clean, safe and orderly, supporting daily operations and occasional events.

Key responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
• Remove trash, replenish supplies and perform basic cleaning of offices, corridors and break rooms.
• Report maintenance issues, follow safety and hygiene procedures, and assist with event setup or room rearrangements.
• Interact courteously with building occupants and visitors to respond to basic service requests.

Required profile

• Ability to perform routine janitorial and housekeeping tasks.
• Strong customer‑service attitude for respectful interaction with occupants.
• Willingness to be trained on cleaning equipment, safety protocols and hygiene standards.
• Basic understanding of sales or service‑oriented mindsets.
• Attention to detail, reliability and ability to follow schedules.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift moderate weights and repeat cleaning tasks.
• Basic communication skills in English and/or the local language; prior janitorial experience is a plus.
