Junior Field Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our Jordan Service Department, reporting to the Service Manager. This role offers recent graduates or early‑career engineers the chance to develop a long‑term career supporting advanced X‑ray screening and trace detection systems in a customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair X‑ray and Trace detection systems across Jordan.
• Conduct site surveys and produce supporting reports prior to installations.
• Diagnose system faults, perform failure analysis and carry out corrective maintenance.
• Provide technical support to customers and generate service, incident and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a field service or technical environment (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Medical Engineering.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• Willingness to work non‑standard hours when required.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with electronic or electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding abilities.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Knowledge of X‑ray screening and trace detection systems.
