Junior Landscape Architect

About the role
The Junior Landscape Architect will provide technical support to the UN‑Habitat Jordan Head of Country Office, project managers and the project team. The role focuses on delivering technical outputs that strengthen greening and resilience initiatives in Jordanian cities.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the Sahab Green Public Space Plan Report.
- Support vegetation planning and implementation at pilot sites in Sahab.
- Produce the Knowledge Exchange Workshop Report for the Smart Urban Water Management project.
- Conduct hydrological assessments for selected public spaces.
- Review the “Typologies of Urban Green Infrastructure” toolkit.
- Assist in finalising designs and supporting implementation of greening sites.
Required profile
- Junior‑level professional able to provide technical support to UN‑Habitat teams.
- Interest in urban greening, public‑space planning and climate‑resilient design.
- Willingness to work part‑time for a six‑month consultancy in Amman.
