Knowledge Management Consultant for Violence Against Children (Remote)

About the role
UNICEF is seeking an experienced consultant to lead global knowledge management for Violence Against Children (VAC) and support the coordination of the Second Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children. The role is remote‑based, with a focus on documenting impact, synthesising evidence, and facilitating learning across countries.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a global knowledge repository on VAC interventions and outcomes.
- Produce knowledge products (briefs, case studies, policy notes) to inform advocacy and decision‑making.
- Coordinate with UNICEF country offices, partners, and donors to capture national‑level impact data.
- Support the planning, logistics and content development for the upcoming Global Ministerial Conference.
- Analyse gaps in evidence and recommend scalable solutions for child protection systems.
- Facilitate virtual learning events and communities of practice on VAC.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree in public health, social sciences, international development or a related field.
- Proven experience in knowledge management, research synthesis, or evidence‑based policy within child protection or violence prevention.
- Demonstrated ability to work in international, multi‑stakeholder environments.
- Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and remotely for the duration of the 15‑month contract.
Required skills
- Familiarity with knowledge‑management platforms or databases.
- Experience in data analysis and evidence synthesis.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and virtual facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of VAC frameworks such as INSPIRE and the Global Partnership to End Violence Against Children.
