Lab Analyst (6‑Month Contract)

About the role

Join a dynamic analytical team at Chanelle Pharma in Amman, Jordan, supporting the company’s vision to be a leading global provider of high‑quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products. This 6‑month contract position reports to the Analytical Method Development and Validation Supervisor and focuses on method development, validation, and routine testing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop stability‑indicating assay methods and other chromatographic methods for purity and dissolution testing.
• Validate newly developed chromatographic methods and prepare validation reports.
• Assist in qualification, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HPLC and other analytical instruments.
• Write and review SOPs, test methods, specifications, protocols, and analytical reports.
• Perform daily analytical tests following GLP safety and documentation procedures.
• Calibrate and qualify instruments such as HPLC, GC, dissolution apparatus, ovens, centrifuges, balances, pH meters, sonicators, and water treatment units.
• Manage inventory of standards, reagents, solvents, and APIs in compliance with GLP.
• Investigate out‑of‑specification (OOS) results and report findings promptly.
• Maintain laboratory order, safety, and waste disposal according to approved procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality Assurance or analytical role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of EU pharmaceutical quality regulations.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HPLC and GC instrumentation.
• Experience in dissolution testing and method validation.
• Instrument qualification and calibration expertise.
• Understanding of GLP guidelines and documentation practices.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office.
