Legal Associate Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, business‑oriented Legal Associate Manager to support KPMG Middle East’s legal and compliance function. The role provides practical legal counsel, manages contract negotiations and helps mitigate legal risks while ensuring adherence to laws, regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely legal advice on contractual, corporate, employment and regulatory matters.
• Assess legal and commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage contracts such as NDAs, service agreements, vendor and commercial agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal governance requirements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise stakeholders on potential impacts.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and coordinate external legal support.
• Support resolution of disputes, claims, investigations and regulatory matters.
• Develop and maintain contract management processes, templates and documentation standards.
• Contribute to legal awareness initiatives and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
• Participate in strategic projects, offering legal input throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) or equivalent legal qualification.
• Several years of experience in corporate, contract or regulatory law, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical abilities and a business‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business leaders.
