Lifeguard – Full‑time

About the role

Join a leading hospitality brand as a Lifeguard responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at the pool facility in Aqaba. This full‑time position requires vigilance, quick response, and a friendly attitude to create a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and intervene with appropriate rescue techniques when needed.
• Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, and distressed guests.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations, promoting a safe and fun atmosphere.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb unassisted and 75 lb with assistance.
• Comfort working on wet, uneven surfaces and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
