About the role
Opal Hotel in Amman is seeking a qualified Lifeguard to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for guests. The role involves supervising the pool area, responding to emergencies, and delivering aquatic sessions.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the pool area and ensure the safety of all swimmers at all times.
- Carry out rescue procedures promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Provide first aid when needed and follow the hotel's emergency protocols.
- Conduct aquatic sessions for guests.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations politely and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool area and report any hazards or equipment issues.
- Work according to the assigned shift schedule.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Valid lifeguard/swimming license (Gold level).
- Experience in first aid.
- Ability to carry out emergency rescue procedures.
- Experience in conducting aquatic sessions.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including experience in the hotel sector.
