Manufacturing Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join Hikma Pharmaceuticals’ production team in Amman. The role involves operating equipment, cleaning, and documenting manufacturing activities in a GMP‑compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow cGMP, safety, quality, health and environmental procedures during all manufacturing activities.
• Clean manufacturing equipment and utensils according to SOPs and protocols.
• Operate production machines in line with standard operating procedures.
• Execute steps recorded in manufacturing and packaging batch records.
• Document all manufacturing and cleaning actions on logbooks, batch records and packaging records daily.
• Provide input for troubleshooting, process improvement and procedure revision.
• Prepare daily reports and communicate shift hand‑overs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience as an operator in a manufacturing setting.
• Diploma in chemical engineering, pharmacy, chemistry or a related field.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods.
• Good English reading and writing skills.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or GMP environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Computer data‑entry proficiency.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Understanding of cGMP procedures.
