Marketing Development Representative (MDR)

About the role

The Marketing Development Representative (MDR) is the bridge between marketing initiatives and the sales organization. You will manage inbound leads, qualify prospects, and set up qualified meetings for the Account Executives, helping to improve lead quality and conversion rates.

Key responsibilities

• Own inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns and digital channels.
• Contact and qualify prospects via phone, email, social media, and other communication tools.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and update the CRM system.
• Schedule qualified meetings and assign opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives.
• Provide timely follow‑up throughout the qualification process.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to enhance lead conversion and campaign performance.
• Track and report on lead volume, quality, response rates, and conversion metrics.
• Identify trends and feedback from prospects and recommend improvements to targeting, messaging, and lead‑generation activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in lead generation, customer service, telemarketing, marketing, or sales development.
• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
• Critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and the ability to adapt communication to different prospect needs.
• Proactive, results‑oriented, and comfortable working toward performance targets.
• Team player with good collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM systems (preferred).
• Comfortable with digital tools, social media platforms, and communication technologies.
