Mechanical Technician – Local Hiring

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its Saudi Arabia team. The role focuses on servicing, corrective and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment, ensuring continuous operation and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule in line with company policies, customer specifications and industry standards.
• Perform administration, configuration, calibration, programming and qualification of assigned machinery.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on smelter equipment and related machinery according to contractual requirements.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process errors, propose corrective actions and implement solutions.
• Provide on‑site technical support to customers, ensuring equipment meets regulatory and safety standards.
• Monitor equipment performance to minimise unplanned downtime and optimise operational efficiency.
• Track and manage spare‑part stock levels to support maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of industrial or smelter equipment.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, HSEQ regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to work on‑site and interact with customers while maintaining safety standards.
• Good analytical skills for diagnosing equipment issues.
