Medical Representative

About the role

The Medical Representative will promote pharmaceutical products to health‑care providers across Amman. The role focuses on building relationships with physicians, pharmacists and other clinicians to generate prescriptions and increase market share.

Key responsibilities

• Visit physicians, pharmacists and other health‑care providers regularly to present product information.
• Encourage and secure written prescriptions for assigned products.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales reports for the direct manager.
• Forecast sales targets and report progress on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Organise appointments and meetings with new community and hospital‑based providers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical data and communicate it effectively during presentations.
• Gather market feedback, monitor competitor activity and relay insights to the company.
• Participate in medical events and networking opportunities to expand the professional network.
• Achieve defined call, coverage and frequency targets while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a medical or pharmaceutical sales representative.
• Owns a car and is based in Amman.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills for engaging with health‑care professionals.
• Professional attitude with solid organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic.
