Mid/Senior PHP Developer – Build Scalable REST APIs

About the role

You will join an agile, flat‑structured team to design and deliver fast, reliable REST APIs that keep core systems connected. The role focuses on writing clean, secure, maintainable PHP code while shaping architecture and quality standards for long‑term scalability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance REST APIs for system integrations.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable PHP code following OOP and design‑pattern best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, performance optimisation, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring solutions remain scalable.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot services using tools such as Grafana.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong foundation in OOP, design patterns, and service‑oriented architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with MySQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in building and documenting REST APIs (Swagger or similar).
• Familiarity with AMQP technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ) and monitoring tools (Grafana or equivalent).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment and solve complex technical problems.
• Experience with eCommerce projects is a plus.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted development tools.
