Multi-Property Reservation Agent

About the role

The Multi‑Property Reservation Agent is responsible for handling all reservation inquiries for Marriott properties in Amman. You will work directly with guests by phone, fax or mail, ensuring accurate bookings, changes and cancellations while delivering the brand’s standard of wonderful hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, verify room availability and rates, and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Explain guarantee, special rate and cancellation policies to callers and document any special requests.
• Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types and apply sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Handle complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel‑agent rates and wholesale reservations by applying the correct codes.
• Escalate guest concerns following proper procedures and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to company policies and support team goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior reservation experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional communication skills and a courteous telephone etiquette.
• Commitment to uphold privacy, security and quality‑assurance standards.
